League play
Crew teams play in the Morris County Youth Soccer Association. Each age group has several flights, and before every season each team is placed in a flight that matches its overall skill level.
Tryouts
Like most travel clubs, we require a tryout before joining a team. Coaches assess prospective players before each season, and selection depends on skill, age and open roster spots. A spot one season doesn't guarantee a spot the next. Families can contact a coach or board member any time for an informal evaluation.
Off-season training
In summer and winter, coaches may enter teams in indoor or outdoor leagues, tournaments and training. Schedules and fees vary, and every player is encouraged to take part.
Player & parent commitment
Players attend weekly practice and training on top of the league schedule. Coaches run team practices once or twice a week, and academy staff lead a weekly session at our fields. Sessions are about 90 minutes. Frequent absences may mean less playing time.
Parents get players to the fields on time and volunteer a few hours each season at the home-field concession stand.
Sideline behavior
Cheer for your child, but don't argue with officials. Keep the enthusiasm positive.
